Mission Statement

Children are our first priority at the Helen R. Walton Children's Enrichment Center.

We opened our doors in 1982 and are a trusted name in the community and the early childhood industry.  Our purpose is to serve families by providing quality care and education for children six weeks of age through pre-kindergarten in a non-profit early childhood setting. 

Our commitment to quality care and education is reflected in all that we do.  The Center reaches beyond our families served, and collaborates with early childhood programs throughout the region.  We want all Northwest Arkansas families to have access to quality care and education.

Vision Statement

2011-2014

By 2014 Helen R. Walton Children's Enrichment Center will be leading initiatives to improve overall childcare and child development.  We will continue to be a model early childhood program that serves as an advocate and educator for quality care and education in our community and state.

Helen R. Walton Children's Enrichment Center will focus on developmentally appropriate methods to care for and educate young children, so learning will be exciting, experimental, and fun.

At the Center, children and families will be offered educational opportunities to provide a strong foundation, in order for them to not merely function, but excel as they progress toward elementary school.

To provide excellence in childcare we will strive to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality early childhood professionals.
