The Children’s Enrichment Center will always accept applications from qualified candidates.  Qualified candidates should have the following:

§        Experience in a licensed facility

§         CDA, Associates, Bachelors in Early Childhood Development or related field a plus

§         Good communication skills

§         Professional attitude and appearance

Available Positions as of August 23, 2010

  Resource Coordinator                                              Preschool Department Aide

            Hours:  11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  M-F                                           Hours:  9 a.m. – 6 p.m.  M-F                                 

            Purchases supplies & classroom equipment                      Supports classrooms ages 3-5 years of age

            Support resource and training center                                  6+ months of experience in EC is required

            Experience in early childhood preferred                             Starting wage:    $8.25/hr. w/ 6 mo. exp.

            Starting wage:  $9-10/hr                                                                                $8.50 w/ exp. & 3 sh EC course work

  Area Support                                                        Preschool Department Aide

            Hours:  9 a.m. – 6 p.m.  M-F                                         Hours:  12 – 6 p.m. (PT position)  M-F

            Supports classrooms of all age                                       Supports classrooms ages 3-5 years of age

            Entry level position                                                        6+ months of EC experience required

            Starting wage:    $8/hr                                                     Starting wage:   $8.25 w/ 6 mo. exp.

                                                                                                                             $8.50 w/ exp. & 3 sh EC course work

                                                                                                                             $9.25 w/ exp. & CDA or AA

Pay rates are dependent on education and early childhood experience.
